Our story
A family recipe, shared with Sherwood
The Humble Crumb is what happens when a family recipe refuses to stay small.

The recipe came first
The cinnamon roll recipe came first — shared with Ruth by a friend in Kansas and passed through the family. Betsy and Eli knew it was too good to keep at home.
“Scratch baking. Warm welcomes. Reasons to gather.”
The Humble Crumb, since 2016

From neighbors’ markets to Loop Road
The family began sharing rolls with neighbors at local markets. As demand grew, they expanded their baking space and eventually made a permanent home on Loop Road.
Today, Humble Crumb is a family-owned neighborhood bakery where scratch baking, warm hospitality, celebration cakes, and gatherings all have a place at the table.
Still a family table
Breakfast at 7, lunch till 2, cakes for the big days, and rooms where Sherwood celebrates its showers, birthdays, and small weddings. Come by Wednesday through Saturday — or start with a cinnamon roll and see how this all happened.

Family-owned since 2016 — scratch baking, warm welcomes, and reasons to gather. Follow along at @thehumblecrumbers.
